Currently brewing out of Boulder and Greeley, Colorado we at Elephant Ear Brewing Co. have finalized our Honey Lager and Raspberry Amber Ale taste. So far this summer we have started many projects in hope of expanding our company. Other brews include an Indian Pale Ale, a Winter Stout, and our most famous Original Amber.

In Berlin Gaelan, Megan, Drew, and I got to witness this awesomeness...

Yesterday a massive paint attack happened in the heart of Berlin! The Rosenthaler Platz, which is the center of one of Berlin’s creative areas (a lot of street art and nice galleries can be found around it!) was repainted.
The whole action took only a few seconds:
“…bikers had poured paint from big boxes in front of cars that waited for green lights. So the cars and their wheels, if the driver wanted it or not, became the brush tool for this guerilla public art piece.
I could gather the info that the action had no commercial background but can rather be connected to the movement and idea of “Reclaim the City”. Activists taped posters on the lights reading washable, organic, biodegradable to ensure that the paint did no real long term harm to the junction. I still think that most of those car drivers will freak out back home seeing their wheels and body colored over and over…”

Guerilla Art or Marketing?
Although it’s maybe one of these guerilla marketing actions, it’s a quite nice idea and a great realization, ’cause the whole painting was done by the public! If you ask me, all the streets should have such a powerful coating.

My sister in law AUBREY SACCO, age 23, is MISSING in NEPAL. She took a bus from Kathmandu to SYABRUBESI on April 19, and began the 7-8 day LANGTANG trek in the Himalayas on April 20. She planned to follow the Lonely Planet guide. She should have returned to Kathmandu between April 30-May 1. We have not heard from her since she began the trek. She is trekking ALONE. Nepali agencies are working on this, including the US Embassy. If you have any contacts or information to help with our search please e-mail both csacco2700@gmail.com, amandaryan28@yahoo.com,  or jallen333@pointloma.edu. Please repost this on twitter or any other forms of communication you have access to. thank you, and please keep her and our family in your prayers...

the first

My dad received an award tonight for his 32 years of teaching, and he announced his retirement. Its weird to think that my dad won't be going to school in the fall and that he's free from work or something, hopefully he doesn't miss it too bad. I just recently got home from studying abroad in europe, it was way gnarly. a few of my friends are still out there searching and stuff and I hope they're having some fun and playing it safe, yall are in my prayers. I'm glad to be back though, I get to be with my family, wake up to the mountains everyday, mow my lawn, eat mexican food, and go to church in fort collins. I miss san diego though, i wanna go surfing, even though i suck. There's some good music coming our way this summer...
